Krajina Literary Club Negotin
The magazine for literature, art and culture Buktinja was launched in 1954 and with a few breaks in releasing has survived to this day. Beginning in 2008, since it was part of the edition of the Krajina’s literary club in Negotin, Buktinja is being published more often – three to four times a year. The last published number (51/52) is the first double issue of this magazine. The topic was a fantasy, which was processed through texts in the area of literature, music, fine arts, history, film…
This double issue is a kind of homage to the late masters of painting – Radislav Trkulja, who left some of his works to the Cultural Centre Stevan Mokranjac, and thus the city of Negotin, as a legacy. There is one of his paintings from the legacy on a magazine cover – Beauty and the beast – which ideally fits into the topic of this issue. In addition, the appropriate text about Trkulja and his work was published. The literary and artistic works of seventeen authors from Negotin were also presented, which made this double number of Buktinja reflect the spirit of this city.

The RTS Symphony Orchestra celebrates eight decades of existence and continuous work this year. This ensemble, is a pillar of musical activities of radio anаd television in Serbia, but also has developed the concert industry and its well-thought and engaged work, performances in Belgrade, in Serbia and abroad, contributes significantly to the quality of musical life, promotes the highest standards of professionalism and artistic value, especially by fostering the Serbian musical heritage. Along with the most important guest conductor names, the ensemble was headed by the most important music deputies, Mihajlo Vukdragović, the first leader of the orchestra, then Stevan Hristić, Krešimir Baranović, Borivoje Simić, Mladen Jagušt, Vančo Čavdarski, Vladimir Krančević, Milen Nachev and David Porcelijn. Since 2005, the artistic director and chief conductor of the Orchestra is Bojan Sudjić, who started his art career in 1985 with work with the RTS Choir and in 1989 with the Symphony Orchestra. Music Production of RTS ensembles have performed at all important festivals in Yugoslavia and Serbia, and they also had a successful tours in England, Italy, France, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Greece, Russia, Romania, Morocco, Montenegro and Croatia.
During the eight decades of the performance, the orchestra made a large number of studio recordings, mostly the compositions of domestic authors (Yugoslav and Serbian) and contemporary music, predominantly with domestic soloists, which constitute the core of the music archive of Radio and Television of Serbia. The ensemble is the winner of the most important domestic awards.

Aleksandar Serdar (Belgrade) – one of th e most prominent artists from our area, world renown pianist – has won several awards at prestigious international competitions like Monza, Carlo Zecchi and Vercelli in Italy, then in Palm Beach and Cincinnati in the United States, as well as the fourth prize on Competition of Arthur Rubinstein held in Tel Aviv. He was born in Belgrade. He graduated at the Music Academy in Novi Sad, and finished master studies at the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, where he worked for five years with Leon Fleischer, though he continued postgraduate studies with Sergio Perticaroli at the Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome. He has performed in Italy (Conservatory in Milan, Palermo, Venice, Rome, Bari, Trento, Reggio and Turin), USA (Avery Fisher Hall in the Lincoln centre in New York, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Washington), France (in Paris in the Musee d´Orsay, Auditorium Louvre, Shattle Theater, Nice, Lyon, Orleans, Marseille, Toulouse, and on festivals La Roque d’Antheron, Sully sur Loire, St. Riquier …), Switzerland, Russia (at the St. Petersburg and Moscow Festival) , Israel, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia (at the Summer Festival in Zagreb and Dubrovnik), Brazil, Peru, Portugal , Morocco, Lebanon (at the Bustani Beirut Festival), Thailand, Japan, Canada, Luxembourg, Germany (in Munich, Nuremberg and the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival in Hamburg).
He played with world renowned orchestras such as the Philharmonic Orchestra of Dresden, Munich, Bremen, the Slovenian Philharmonic, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Sofia, San Jose, Cincinnati, the National Orchestra of Lille, the National Orchestra of Kapitol Theater in Toulouse, the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, The Athens Philharmonic, the Vancouver Island Symphony, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Israeli Chamber Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Saint Cecilia … He collaborated with distinguished conductors such as Marcel Viotti, Erich Kunzel, Emil Tabakov, Mendi Rodan, Jean Claude Casadesus, Milen Nachev, Leonid Grin.
He recorded his first CD in 1998 for the EMI record label. This release was highly rated by critics. In December 2004, his double disc was published in Luxembourg. For the RTS PGP production, he released a disc with a Baroque repertoire. In the edition of the Music Centre of Montenegro, he published a disc with Tchaikovsky’s works, as well as a manual called Development of Pianist Technique.
He regularly participates in the work of the juries at numerous national and international pianist competitions. Since 1999 he has been teaching piano at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, now in the title of full professor. Since 2006 he has been engaged at the Faculty of Arts in Niš.
